Sturgis Rally Weddings Checklist
Use this checklist to help you get started planning and tracking the details of your Sturgis Rally wedding.
Want flowers, photos, garters, more?
Here are a few of my favorite local photographers, florists and other wedding- and Rally-related resources to help you plan your Sturgis Rally wedding.
Audra’s Bridal Gallery
For any and all of your wedding needs, you can count on Matty and her staff. Plan to work with them well in advance of your arrival for anything that might need to be ordered, such as tuxedos, veils or gowns.
Audra’s also has certified wedding planners on staff. Whether you are looking for someone to take care of everything or just to be there on the big day to coordinate and direct the details, consider talking to the team at Audra’s.
Jenny’s Floral, Custer
Jenny’s arrangements are gorgeous, lavish even. Passionate about her work, she has an outgoing, “can-do” attitude.
Roots Wedding Florals, Rapid City
Susan’s floral designs are breathtaking, plus she is a delight to work with!
Victoria’s Garden, Rapid City
Vicki and her team create one-of-a-kind floral arrangements, perfect for your one-of-a-kind Rally wedding.
Bent Willow Designs, Spearfish
Up in the northern hills, you can count on Cynthia for gorgeous bouquets and blossoms as unique as your wedding.
The Black Hills has more than its fair share of wonderful photographers. I’ve worked with everyone listed here and they are all good – good photographers and good people.
Take a minute to visit each photographer’s website to get a sense of his or her style. Find one you like and make a call to find out about costs and availability.
Legacy Photo and Design
Amy has a gift for light – both the light in your eyes and the light from the skies. She and I have worked together on traditional weddings for years, and now she’s bringing her talents to biker weddings in the Black Hills. She’s put together a special package for Rally wedding couples.
Mist and Moonlight Photography
Barb loves to “stop time” and document memories, conveying a couple’s story through images of their wedding day, to share with generations to come.
Henry Roy Photography
Roy believes that photography doesn’t have to be stiff or staged. It can be quirky and fun because candid laughs and tender moments are just as important as perfect lighting.
Committed to meeting or exceeding his couples’ needs and to capturing the gorgeous moments of their special day, Kam is based in the northern hills.
You don’t have to have a traditional wedding cake at your Rally wedding, but there is something very celebratory about sharing a special treat with your new spouse!
BOM (Because of Mom) Bakery
Chubby Chipmunk Hand-Dipped Chocolates
Deadwood and Rapid City
Black Hills Harley-Davidson
As you might imagine, this store carries everything you never knew you always wanted for your bike and your body. Satellite Harley stores spring up throughout the hills during the Rally, but this is the granddaddy of them all, offering everything from motorcycles to mechanics and every kind of gear you can imagine. The parking lot is filled with vendors, too. Definitely a destination!
This is a branch location of Black Hills Harley-Davidson, located in downtown Sturgis.
Everything about the Sturgis Rally! They have the largest, most complete schedule of events, places to stay (both private and commercial), maps, message board and more.
